Scotland, Fluffywuffy and dinosaurs

It's been ages since my last post. I've had a very busy summer so far with trips to Scotland and Manchester and a lovely day of bookyness at Latitude festival. All whilst developing my next picture book.

In June I was very fortunate to win the Dundee Picture book award. I was up against some brilliant books by Jarvis, Smriti Prasadam-Halls and Sarah Massini and Steve Antony. It was such an honour to win as it was a prize voted for by the children. Thank you Dundee!

As mentioned above, I have been working on my next picture book which contains a rather fearful dinosaur called Dexter. Here's a very sneaky peak...

It's still in the rough stage so anything could change at this point!

Other news: My next illustrated picture book, Fluffywuffy by Simon Puttock is out this week. It's a great read aloud story with a very interesting twist. The character, cousin Clarence, was based on Kramer from Seinfeld and Desmond from Normal For Norfolk and feel he's one of my best characters to date.
