I grew up in Suffolk and spent most of my childhood drawing and painting, with my older brother and father encouraging my every scribble. It was at Art College in Ipswich that I discovered my love of illustration, in particular book illustration, but it wasn't until I started my degree at Cambridge School of Art (CSA) that my love of picture books and story telling really began.
After finishing University I moved to Brighton, where I met my wife Amy, and continued to create and exhibit work. In 2011 we moved to the fine city of Norwich and I began my Masters in Children's Book Illustration back at Cambridge School of Art, which I completed at the start of 2014.
I have had a busy couple of years, working on my masters as well as developing book ideas and getting my first book published, but I love nothing better than spending time in my studio coming up with ideas for characters and stories, and working on new projects.
Below are a selection of publishers that I have been lucky enough to work with.
I am represented by The Elizabeth Roy Literary Agency. For more information please visit her website.
